Meet The Owner

Special Solutions Trade was founded by Allan McLean to provide practical flood protection systems for homes, businesses, and infrastructure across New Zealand.

Based in Feilding, Allan established the business in 2021 after recognising the growing need for reliable ways to protect properties from surface water and flooding during heavy rain events. Over time, Special Solutions Trade has built relationships with homeowners, commercial property owners, councils, and iwi organisations across New Zealand, helping deliver practical flood protection solutions for a range of properties and sites.

Flood protection systems are supplied nationwide, with installation services available across the Manawatū–Whanganui region.
